Moving house and applying for a mortgage is an incredibly stressful time for people and our job here at Nationwide is to make that as painless as possible for our customers.  Our mortgage consultants are there to build that relationship with our customers – to help them make sure they get the right mortgage, but in addition to that make sure we look after their insurance and protection needs. 

Ideally you’ll be somebody who has already worked in this type of environment and you’ll already be CMAC qualified.  More than anything you’ll be somebody who is passionate about customer service and really looking after and building relationships with customers.  If you’re that type of person please apply now.

Jenna - Mortgage Consultant

My name's Jenna and I'm  a mortgage consultant. My main priority is interviewing customers, interviewing them for mortgages, helping them buy their houses and generally looking after them so when they walk away they've got everything they could possibly need in relation to their mortgage.

Selling some of the best mortgage products in the industry, you’ll meet with customers to work out their exact mortgage needs and how best to meet them. And while mortgages will be your specialty, you’ll also advise on everything from credit cards to insurance policies.

You’ll be coached and managed by an Area Sales Manager and work to specific sales targets. Meet them and we’ll reward you with an individual bonus.

Sales experience is a must and a background in financial services a definite plus. But most important of all are highly-developed customer service skills and plenty of self-motivation. CeMap qualification will be a big advantage but if you have the right skills we can support you to gain this and give you a lot more to aim for.
