Our opening hours

Wakefield contact centre operating hours are:

Operating hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm; Saturday 9am to 8pm; Sunday, 9am to 5pm

That means you'll need to be happy to work flexible eight-our shifts. There's a two week rotating shift rota and you can swap shifts if you need to.

Customer-focused, whatever your hours

The work is all about people, not paperwork. So you'll spend 90% of your time on the phone talking to customers and complete your admin on a computer. You can work full-time or part-time.

  • Full-time is 35 hours per week
  • Part-time is at least 16 hours per week
  • Overtime at time and a half (for over 35 hours per week) is occasionally available

Where we are

Our Wakefield contact centre is in Paragon Business Village just off Junction 41 of the M1 and minutes from the city centre. It's a landscaped setting that also features a Burger King, a Brewer's Fayre Restaurant and Pub, a Just Learning crèche and a Bannatyne's gym - all within walking distance.

Getting there by public transport

Paragon Business Village is just over a mile from Wakefield Westgate Railway Station.

Getting there by car

From Junction 41 of the M1 take the A650 heading towardsWakefield. Head straight across at the first roundabout, then at the next roundabout take the third turning. There's free parking for 100 cars and we have a car-sharing scheme in place to ease congestion.

Getting there under your own steam

If you prefer to cycle there's plenty of secure space in our cycle shed - and you can even shower once you've arrived.

This is also the team with responsibility for originating structured finance transactions and managing investment portfolios as well as helping to achieve best returns on the Group’s asset portfolios.

2013 is a very important year for Nationwide’s Treasury Division. Treasury front office (market facing) functions will be relocating to the new London Threadneedle Street offices in the heart of the City, and shortly afterwards, Risk, Operations and supporting functions will move to Nationwide House in Swindon.
