ambitious change, then accurate financial forecasting, planning and
reporting is critical. And the more its insights, analysis and
expertise influence the direction of the business, the more
successful Finance is seen to be.
Building constructive working relationships with internal
business leaders and external regulators, Finance makes sure its
reporting delivers the best outcome for members. Although
professionals work across the UK, most are based in our main admin
centres in Swindon, Northampton and Bournemouth.
Financial Management
It's an exciting time to be part of Financial Management here at
Nationwide. Not only is this one of the fastest growing areas of
our organisation, but Financial Management is playing a more
important role than ever before in driving and influencing the
transformational change throughout the organisation.
We have a broad range of influential roles for both Accountants
and Senior Accountants in a number of different areas within our
Financial Management Division. You'll need to possess a relevant
qualification, either CIMA, ACCA or ACA, and you should be a
confident team player, a hard worker and ambitious to make your own
contribution to our success. Along with some really great benefits,

Strategic Decision Support
Based mainly in our Swindon headquarters, members of this team
are outward-looking business partners. As they help business
leaders through pricing analysis, planning and performance
reporting, their financial expertise informs critical
decisions.
Central Finance
Internally focused, the teams here are involved in financial
planning, analysis and tax management. They interact with their
Finance customers, concentrating on corporate financial priorities
such as Board reporting, change, income and cost co-ordination.
They're located in both Swindon and Northampton.
Finance Shared Service Centre
Mainly located in Northampton, this function specialises in
Financial Accounting and Statutory Reporting. It's run as a
business, providing efficient, cost-effective services to internal
customers and external regulators. Wherever you work we'll
encourage you to grow and progress through our own accredited
development initiatives and promotion possibilities. You'll have
the chance to specialise in a specific discipline or to vary your
career. Whether you're ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CTA or AAT qualified or
part-qualified, or looking for your first Finance role, you'll get
the career you deserve - provided you're ambitious and results
focused with strong analytical and consulting skills.

An exciting opportunity has arisen as a result of a growing appetite to advance new monies. The Property & Business Savings team is expanding in London and creating a further unit consisting of a Lending Manager and two Assistant Lending Managers. The Lending Manager will focus on new business acquisition and pro-active ongoing relationship and asset management on a Commercial property based lending portfolio.
More specifically, the role will provide effective day to day portfolio management, identify early warning of potential issues on transactions, drive more income from the existing loan book by way of identification of cross selling opportunities, and undertake debt restructuring where appropriate as well as generating new lending opportunities.
