Admin Roles in Nationwide provide essential support for our branch network (Nationwide Retail) and our Contact Centres (Nationwide Direct). It’s high volume processing work – although there are of course peaks and troughs of activity when we launch new products or change our rates. We’re making everything as automated as possible but, whatever your role, you’ll still be key in making sure everything we write, amend, update, send or file is 100% accurate.

Most of our admin roles are concentrated at our 2,200-strong operation in Northampton. But we also have many other admin teams across the UK. Wherever they’re located though, our admin staff deliver the kind of customer-focused service that cements our relationship with one in four UK households. That’s why we invest so much in making sure they’re well trained and well supported, and that they have every encouragement to develop.

It may be back-office work, but in many cases it still involves a lot of telephone contact with customers. And whether you’re checking details, progress chasing or keeping a customer updated, you’ll be as warm and friendly as you are accurate and efficient.
