Collections Adviser and Senior Debt Negotiator
Customers miss their repayments for a host of different reasons. And helping them get their finances back under control calls for a particular blend of skills – tact, assertiveness and sensitivity among them. So we won’t pretend these roles are easy, or for everyone. But if you can blend empathy with persistence and an ability to find a suitable solution, they’re among the most rewarding roles around.
There are many reasons why our customers might miss their repayments. And if events spiral out of control, the money problems they create can seem insurmountable. By getting to the heart of the matter though, you can shrink those problems right back down to size.

It calls for a particular blend of skills. Assertiveness, tact, energy and sensitivity produce the best results. They’ll help you adapt your approach to the circumstances of each case, break down barriers, gain trust and find an appropriate solution. And the more successful you are at reaching an agreement, the more you’ll be rewarded.
We won’t pretend it’s easy. Customers can be upset, worried and even angry. But whether you join us as a Collections Adviser or a Senior Debt Negotiator – handling the more difficult cases – you can expect thorough training, endless support and a fantastic working environment. And of course, there’s a huge amount of job satisfaction in giving people less to worry about.
Both roles are based in our Northampton Administration Centre where you’ll be part of a 200-strong team. Join full-time and you’ll work flexible 8am - 8pm shifts including alternative Saturdays 9am-12pm. Join part-time and you’ll work at least three evenings a week plus alternative Saturdays 9am-12pm.
