You don’t need specific experience to join us as a Customer Representative or a Customer Account Manager – the roles we recruit for most often. We’ll give you all the training you need. That said, we’ll be delighted to hear from you if you’re working in financial services at the moment and keen to move to an organisation with an unrivalled reputation for honesty and fairness. Or if you’re in retail and looking to make the most of your customer service skills. And if you bring us basic PC skills we can definitely build on those.

We recruit from outside Nationwide into all our roles though. For many you don’t need financial services experience as long as you have a strong background in sales or customer service.

Whatever role you’re interested in it’s personal qualities that really make the difference. Loads of self-motivation for instance. A real way with people. And the determination to build the kind of long-term relationships that lead to sales.
