This specialist department is made up of people with specific technical skills like audio-visual production or copywriting, or who have experience of creating communications strategies for a wide range of business departments. When people join they tend to stay so staff turnover is low and we rarely need to recruit externally.
As well as audio-visual production, copywriting and strategic skills, we need people with relationship management and presentation abilities.
Because the roles are so specialised, the opportunities to move into other areas of Nationwide are fairly few and far between.
You’d work at the Swindon Head Office but may sometimes visit the other main head offices, branches and contact centres.
