What we do
Our Transformation teams have the exciting challenge of managing Nationwide's business transformation agenda. Through an annual investment in change projects we strive to ensure that the organisation remains competitive and continues to evolve and provide outstanding service to our members. This is a fast paced, dynamic environment where delivering our change portfolio makes a real difference to the business and our customers.
How we're structured
Change & IT form part of the Group Development division which has three key business areas with two major portfolios of programmes.
Transformation Planning
- Develops, plans and communicates high level strategy
- Produces high-level enterprise architecture, roadmaps and outline designs
- Provides assurance processes for project designs
- Provides a Management Information service to Group Development in relation to the portfolio of change programmes.
Transformation Delivery
- Leads large - small scale change programmes and projects
- Provide technical specialists to programmes, working from within practice areas and resourced to programmes
Technology Services
- Provides a technology service to the society
- "Run" platforms and applications, ensuring consistent 24/7 accessibility
- Provides support and maintenance to platforms and systems.
Front Office Portfolio
- Programmes that enable our customer facing colleagues to deliver effective service to customers.
Back Office Portfolio
- Nationwide's core bank replacement and subsequent upgrades, our largest ever investment in technology
- Major transormation programme essociated with the replacement of the core bank
- Related programmes to the transformation of our core banking platform and system.
