As part of the society’s Information Management Department, you’ll play a key role in developing and maintaining the data quality and reconciliation reporting capability. Specifically, as part of a team that focuses on data accuracy and completeness ensuring the Business is fully confident in the data we provide. Ideally, have exposure to Information Management including requirements gathering, data management, data integration, storage, reporting and analytic tools.
This exciting new role will focus on supporting the business as usual activity along with assisting delivery of Nationwide’s transformation projects. You will reconcile data from a number of distinct sources to meet our own data standards providing confidence to the Business about the data they use for reporting, analytics and modelling.
Your work will be split between a technical one either from utilising your SAS or SQL skills and that of a data management role where your reconciliation and data quality experience will be used to the full in providing understanding of the data used across the Business.
You’ll have the chance to share your knowledge with a wider team and ensure that data is valued as an asset.. Your work will mainly focus on assuring the data that the wider team works with is accurate; you’ll be working with a range of data from retail to commercial.
This role will give our current team manager a deputy within their team and give employees a clear career path from Analyst to Senior Manager; data usage at Nationwide is growing and so is the team. As a senior team member, you’ll be expected to deputise for the manager in their absence by supporting strategic thinking, solving problems and developing team priorities.
