We have all kinds of admin roles. Together, they provide essential support for our customers, branch network (Nationwide Retail) and contact centres (Nationwide Direct). You could work anywhere in our Head Office or in our administration centres.

Most roles involve processing work, with peaks and troughs of activity when we launch new products or change our rates. And although we’re automating as much as possible, you’ll still be key in making sure everything we write, amend, update, send or file is 100% accurate.

It may be back-office work, but in many cases it still involves a lot of telephone contact with customers. So whether you’re checking details, progress chasing or keeping a customer updated, you’ll be as warm and friendly as you are accurate.

The different areas are:

Payment Services

processes automated and manual payments for 13 million customers.

Banking and Savings

administers all new and existing banking and savings products.

Mortgage Administration

administers all new and existing mortgage products. 

Lending Control

collects and recovers all overdue accounts across all secured and unsecured products. 

Strategy & Support

supports our operational departments by delivering strategic business initiatives.
