In short, they all genuinely want to help people work through their financial difficulties. It makes them feel good. Here’s what we’re looking for.

The skills you need

If you’re positive, resilient and flexible you’re off to a good start and may well fit in. In addition, all our advisors:

  • like dealing with people and have an interest in financial services
  • thrive in a fast-paced environment, are happy to work to realistic targets and are self-motivated
  • are detail and customer-focused (which is great as we have to comply with the FSA)
  • can apply technical information to real life situations
  • are able to deal sensitively, yet firmly, with customers who can be upset
  • totally comfortable on the phone
  • willing to learn and can cut through information to create a mutually beneficial outcome
