Group Internal Audit reports to the Group Finance Director, via the Divisional Director Group Internal Audit, who also has a reporting line direct to the Audit Committee Chairman.  There are four operational teams. Each comprises Audit Managers, Senior Auditors, Auditors and Trainees and is led by a Senior Audit Manager.  These teams are assisted by the Audit Reporting Communications Centre.

The operational teams are:

• Strategy, Risk and Finance
• Lending
• Savings and Distribution
• Transformation and Shared Services

Auditors

You’ll carry out risk-based audits across a wide range of business areas, getting involved at all stages from scoping the work to preparing the draft report.

Senior Auditors

You’ll lead complex audit assignments at an operational and corporate level while bringing the best out in your team. So you’ll need proven coaching and management skills as well as strong technical ability.

Senior Auditors will also need a relevant professional qualification. Auditors must be keen to study for a qualification.

The majority of roles are based in Swindon or Northampton although some additional roles involve travel around the UK.
