Treasury is a key part of Nationwide’s business. We raise wholesale funding, manage liquidity and minimise interest rate risk for the Group. We’re also the team with responsibility for originating structured finance transactions, managing investment portfolios and achieving the best returns on the Group’s asset portfolios.

We operate within markets that are being driven by increasing regulation. Crucially, that requires us to build strong relationships with the FSA, Bank of England and HM Treasury as well as the external markets. But added to that we need to take a commercial perspective on everything we do.

It’s as tricky as three-dimensional chess. And it’s why we need people of exceptional calibre. Joining us will give you influence and exposure across our business together with huge scope to develop personally and professionally with the support of a variety of training.
