Our Customer Service & Operations divisions are responsible for all large scale, product (banking, savings, mortgages, credit cards) based customer processes. Customer Service & Operations drive our vision to be the UK’s leading retail financial services provider. Supporting the Customer Service & Operations Division, you’ll impact the way Nationwide manages key suppliers, its operations, projects and working closely with the business to maximize value.
Group Operations account for over half of Nationwide’s cost base £500m, in your role you’ll constantly improve Management Information to make sure we can understand and challenge cost performance. You’ll provide the analysis that will support those challenges. Sitting with the business you’ll become a trusted advisor on how Customer Service and Operations invest their money.
You’ll be working with senior management and your input will be vital for strategic decision making on operational spend. Whether looking for process improvement or checking the return on investment for our new projects you’ll learn how a large retail organisation plans for the future. You’ll also be in a true business partnering role with a 70/30 split between partnering and analysis.
We have the flexibility to offer this role as Accountant or Senior Accountant dependent on your current level of experience. The salary bands for each level are below:
