Manager - Stress Testing

You’ll be reporting to the Senior Manager for Stress Testing and Forecasting Development with at least one direct report.  This team is part of the Stress Testing and Forecasting function within Capital Management. Your responsibility will be to support directly the senior manager in the development of our stress testing process at Nationwide to make sure that the department is developing its stress testing capabilities in line with our corporate Stress Testing Enhancement Programme (STEP).

You’ll be leading on key pieces of work as outlined by the senior manager and working fairly autonomously with the requirement to deputise for the senior manager during absences. You’ll be an active member of the stress testing community and your role will require you collaborate with a range of internal stakeholders to deliver our enhanced stress testing framework.

As well as being involved in the near start of company-wide stress testing improvement plan, you will also get hands on experience in the forthcoming 2015 Concurrent Stress Test.  

This is one of our vacancies in our new Stress Testing and Forecasting Development team of 6, part of a wider expansion within the Capital Management department.
