An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Customer Outcomes Team in Savings. The team is responsible for ensuring our 10m savers get what they expect when they take out a savings product with Nationwide. Key to this is understanding and helping to mitigate any risks that could prevent us from delivering our first class product and service proposition. Should any issues arise, we’re here to provide advice and guidance to the wider Savings team, ensure that we quickly get things back on track, and that the business takes any learnings into future Savings projects and initiatives.

This role is contributing towards the Group’s Corporate Plan as well as internal and regulatory Stress Testing within the Financial Performance division of Nationwide. The information and reports that your team will produce are highly prolific and will go to the board and Executive Committees (ExCo). Financial Management is split into three main areas supporting Product, Retail and Group, covering the whole financial evaluation lifecycle from forecasting and reporting through to effective Commercial decision making. 

Across this lifecycle there is a need for governance and control, ensuring high quality standards, a single unified message and effective challenge and support for Group decisions. The team has significant focus on business engagement, understanding long term goals, priorities and current requirements, and in addition, owning the Financial Plan for the business.
