Our Bournemouth contact centre
An environment where you feel like you belong.
There are lots of places to work. But a place where you feel like you belong – that’s different and that’s something special. Our Bournemouth Contact Centre has cultivated a real sense of community. There’s an informal culture, a focus on wellbeing and, because we’re so close to Bournemouth Square, plenty of shops, restaurants and amenities nearby.

The sense of community in Bournemouth extends to our members. We’re close to them and, when you help them, you really feel like you’re making a difference. Our Bournemouth office has two main teams, including:
Collections and Recoveries
You’ll be working to help members who have fallen behind on their mortgages, loans or personal bank account payments. As the first point of contact, you’ll explore all possible options to get them out of their financial trouble.
Work here is all about people, and you’ll spend the majority of your time helping Nationwide members over the phone. Some calls will present challenges, but you’ll do everything you can to overcome these issues and keep our customers in their homes and on track to fulfil a repayment plan that works for them. It’s meaningful work that makes a notable difference to people’s lives.
This is our new virtual platform, which enables centrally based Personal Banking Managers, Mortgage Consultants (CeMap Qualified), and Financial Planning Managers (DipFA qualified) to hold interviews with members via video conferencing software.
It provides our members with the opportunity to be face-to-face with experts, from the comfort of their local branch. You could be bringing your expertise to branches around the country using this new platform, all while never leaving Bournemouth.
