Who we are
We’re the team that shapes and manages our Society’s cost base.
What we do
With our members at the heart of everything we do, it’s our job to understand what impact our cost base has on our business. We’re then responsible for making sure it benefits everyone it may affect.
Our team is made of Business Partners who influence business decisions, like where to invest, how to organise things efficiently, and what support to give for our third party commercial contracts.
While behind-the-scenes, our Cost Performance and Analysis colleagues take an overview of the cost element of our Corporate Plan, and provide insights in to performance.
What we’re looking for
Although previous financial services experience would be useful, we’re more interested in hearing from people with good attention to detail, outstanding communication skills, and who are great at solving problems.
You’ll be willing to take ownership of projects and tasks, confident at putting your ideas and insights forward to stakeholders, and thrive from hitting deadlines without compromising on quality. You may already have, or be working towards a relevant professional qualification such as ACA (Associate Chartered Accountants) ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) or CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants), but don’t worry if not, this isn’t necessary for every role within our team.
