What we do
Whether we’re supporting financial transactions, accounting and forecasting or managing supplier and employee payments, it’s up to us to make sure we’re recognised as an exemplary organisation within the UK retail banking sector.
We’re a diverse team that provides real financial insight in to the heart of our brand. We pride ourselves on the integrity of external and internal financial systems like reconciling accounts back to our ledger and regulatory reporting. Critical operational processes and financial management are in place so our business meets the needs of our members and colleagues.
It’s also our responsibility to ensure that risk is managed consistently across the Finance, Compliance and Internal Audit functions. We work hard to understand why incidents have occurred and then invest the time in how to put them right.
What we’re looking for
We’re always keen to hear from anyone with a financial services background, or currently working towards a relevant professional qualification like AAT (the Association of Accounting Technician) or CIMA (the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants). But don’t worry if you haven’t, as not all our roles require them. We find that an enquiring mind and outstanding communication skills are equally as good.
