People, Customer, Communication & Commercial (PCCC) is headed by Alison Robb, Group Director.
Prior to joining Nationwide, Alison spent time with WHSmith having trained at KPMG before that. During her time with Nationwide Alison has spent 17 years within the Finance Community and was appointed Group Director in April 2011. Amongst her key responsibilities were the delivery of the Group Strategy and Corporate Plan and the production of the Annual Report and Accounts. In this role Alison was also responsible for Secretariat, Group Finance and the Group Tax. In December 2012, Alison's career shifted in focus when she was appointed Group Director responsible for the Commercial business and the HR, Customer Experience and Corporate Affairs divisions.
The most important asset of any organisation is its people. Within PCCC, it's the role of Human Resources to attract, retain, develop, value and engage our employees.
The customer experience that we offer is crucial to achieving our vision of 'Being the 1st choice for financial services.' Customer Experience, working closely with other areas of the business, is responsible for finding ways to improve the customer experience and developing a customer led organisation.
Corporate Affairs is key to engaging our employees, media, government bodies and other key stakeholders across the business. Citizenship has also become increasingly important to our members in recent years, with Nationwide's five year citizenship strategy, 'Living on your side', launched in 2012.
Within PCCC, the Commercial division also manages our commercial activities where we offer flexible finance solutions for the purchase or refinance of retail, office, industrial, leisure and residential property.
