“I’ve worked across many fantastic teams within Nationwide, and have been particularly proud to play a leading role within our diversity and inclusion agenda, especially supporting our achievement of more than 30% of our senior leaders now being female. We will only be able to continue supporting the evolving needs of our members by attracting, and retaining, talented people of all backgrounds.
"Looking forward to the new decade, I want to continue to build an even more inclusive culture where every employee can thrive, and for Nationwide to reflect the diverse communities we serve right across the UK.
"I remain as passionate today about mutuality as I did when I first joined the Society. We’ve had the same purpose for over 130 years, helping people buy their own homes and save for their future. We continue to put our members, and the communities we serve, at the heart of everything we do."Read less
