Introduction

We need:

  • A Junior Information Analyst to join our HR MI team
  • Based at our head office in Swindon
  • £19,647 - £28,739 a year (depending on previous experience) based on 35 hour per week contract

Who we're looking for

As a minimum requirement you’ll have:

  • Previous experience in a data analyst or similar data focused role
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Extensive experience of using MS Excel including creating pivot tables and vlookups
  • Experience of using MS Access databases
  • Excellent communication skills with the proven ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated that you are a true team player


It would be nice if you also had:

  • Previous experience of using PeopleSoft query or similar report query software
  • Previous experience of using Oracle Business Intelligence reporting tool (OBIEE) or similar BI tools

What you'll be doing

As a Junior HR Information Analyst you will be:

  • Using the systems and data to produce regular MI outputs.
  • Responding to ad hoc data requests providing an accurate and timely service
  • Responding to queries about regular MI outputs, to improve customers understanding of the data provided and/or identify any issues
  • Ensuring robust data quality and data governance controls are in place
  • Managing requests for changes to the distribution of regular MI output and undertaking proactive reviews to ensure distribution remains up to date
  • Supporting analysts and senior analysts as required
  • Supporting the efficiency agenda, undertaking activities to identify and implement improvements to process and the services offered
