Our in house Resourcing function supports all employee sourcing activities for the society.

We’re a large team made up of various specialists, all with important roles to play in enabling and ensuring we bring the best future proofed talent into Nationwide.

One crucial activity within our function is talent acquisition or more simply put, sourcing! We’re looking for a sourcing specialist who will help to build our talent pipeline for current and future recruitment demands.

Who we're looking for

As a minimum requirement you’ll:

  • Have experience of carrying out robust market mapping activities
  • Be used to being involved in conversations with the business about viable and realistic recruitment

approaches based on your sourcing knowledge

  • Have previously been in a successful sourcing role
  • Be a self-motivated individual who can work autonomously, managing activities and workload

against commitments and timescales

  • Have experience of using reputable talent management systems
  • Be succinct and articulate, understanding the best ways and means to engage people effectively
  • Be a great collaborator who’s able to establish quick and effective working relationships

What you'll be doing

You’ll be carrying out sourcing and creating talent pipelines specialist areas of Nationwide. These areas will include (but not limited to): Audit, Finance, Marketing, Communications, Product and Human Resources.

On any given day activities could include:

  • Taking a briefing from a hiring manager on a sourcing need
  • Sourcing through social media and job boards for current hard to fill vacancies
  • Researching market and competitor information to support your resourcing delivery peers
  • Building crucial talent pools for future requirements, driven by demand plans
  • Engaging effectively with prospective candidates
