This role is an exciting opportunity to have real input on the development of an ambitious Privileged Access Management team. running our PAM team, the Privileged Access Security Manager will direct day to day tasks involved in running a successful PAM function across the organisation. they will also be responsible for driving improvements to improve control and reduce risk.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for an ambitious, energetic, and experienced cyber security professional with a proven track record of leading logical access or PAM capabilities, particularly in the Financial Services sector. You'll excel when working in fast paced environments where you are responsible for maintaining high standards of operational output and creating an environment of high performance. You’ll also be an advocate of Privilege Access Management and its value, and be passionate about it having a positive impact on operations and the business.

You'll have an understanding of a PAM Solution used in a large commercial organisation, along with the experience and drive to improve and grow the service. As well as this, you’ll have experience in security and the passion to continuously improve the services and reach of the team. You’ll also be experienced in communicating your assessments to an audience across multiple levels and departments, as well as working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

We work closely with IT and the Wider business, as well as our partners and the team Manager will be responsible for managing and developing these relationships. On occasion, the Security Manager will also be required to deputise for the Senior Security Manager.

As a minimum requirement, you'll have:

• Experience of Information Security, and a solid IT background.

  • Knowledge of the Access Control and Privileged Access Management domains, including the Tools, and processes used.
  • Experience of running busy IT or Security controls teams and maintaining service levels whilst driving improvements through BAU and projects.
  • Ability to work with multiple stake holders from Security, Operations, Application Owners and Service Providers on deployment activities and enhancing the PAM solution.
  • Excellent presentation, communications and influencing skills.
  • An aptitude and interest for future innovations & technologies as well a willingness to continually learn and nurture those around you.
  • A good understanding of various business areas and the functions involved in successful control of privileged access.




It would be nice if you also had:

  • Good understanding of broader Identity and Access Management concepts
  • experience of exploiting the CyberArk solution set.
  • Subject matter expertise in access control and PAM systems and processes in a financial institution.
  • Proven analytical skills and the ability to analyse complex information.
  • Understanding of access control mechanism for Operating systems and Databases and other potential target devices.

  • Driving the delivery of privileged access management controls across IT, Security and the wider business
  • Overseeing all PAM controls and leading the PAM team to achieve its objectives to ensure the risks of privileged access misuse are managed
  • Continually improving existing processes and workflows.
  • Coaching and developing your team and wider stakeholders to improve sustainable capability.
  • Leader 8-10 PAM specialists in the PAM team
  • Liaising across the business to educate on Security and PAM concepts and maximize engagement.
  • manage and drive delivery of developments in products, services, and tools.
