We need:

• A Risk Systems Analyst Lead in our head offices in Swindon.

• £30,506 - £39,232 a year on a permanent contract

• Salary dependant on current package, skills and internal policy

Working within the Systems Team in the Credit Risk Community, you’ll play a lead role in developing our latest generation of decision systems that will underpin all our consumer credit risk business strategies.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be strongly involved in:

• Designing, coding, testing and deploying risk logic using specialised software and tools and producing detailed specifications from business requirements.

• Utilising the functionality, and identify improvements and efficiencies of our decision systems Blaze Advisor and TRIAD, business rules management systems

• Delivering the strategies which enhance our ability to make the right decisions, and improve the quality of our product portfolios

• Contributing to a robust change and control framework and also making ongoing changes to credit risk management models, parameters and strategies

About you

We are a dynamic team that operates from Swindon working together to facilitate and implement change for our stakeholders.

We are interested in people who enjoy and have experience of working in a very fast paced team, a real interest in technology/IT and individuals who are not afraid of taking on responsibility, with a desire to further your career in a growing sector of the financial services industry.

You’ll need to:

• A strong programming background with object orientated experience. In addition, experience with C# or SQL would be beneficial

• A deep understanding and experience of programming FICO Blaze Advisor up to and including version 7.2.6, using both .Net and Java versions of Blaze Advisor

• Experienced in working with Decision Modeller

• Experience in developing a multi bureau solution using Decision Strategy or similar

• Analytically and technically minded and able to demonstrate a strong aptitude for programming and coding tools

• Experience in writing clear, accurate and robust code to defined standards and be used to working in a structured way

• Comfortable with documenting processes and writing detailed specifications on technical subjects

• Able to tackle a problem head on, identifying and communicating the appropriate solution and driving it through to delivery

• Enthusiastic, very well organised and able demonstrate a very positive and agile approach

• A great team player, supporting or leading your colleagues and supporting managers in delivering new projects and maintaining existing systems

• Experience of building relationships across all levels and communicating with confidence on both a business and technical level
