We need:

• A Consultant, Third Party Control Assurance in our Head Office based in Swindon.
• Salary £42,370 - £61,201 per year (£45,000 target salary) (internal appointment dependent on current salary and banding) based on a 35 hours a week, permanent contract

An opportunity has arisen for a Consultant to join the Supply Chain Management team to manage and conduct a schedule of controls assurance reviews (Audits) across Procurement and Supplier Relationship Management disciplines to understand the effectiveness of the design and operation of relevant Frameworks and Processes currently in place to manage third-parties within risk appetite.

Who we're looking for

As a minimum requirement you’ll:

• Have strong experience in an auditing or specialist controls testing function.
• Be able to demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills at all levels
• Be fully proficient in report writing to a high standard
• Have an ‘eye’ for detail

It would be nice if you also had:

• Worked in a 3rd party supplier management or risk management function.
• Experience of working within a Financial Services organisation.
• Experience of Enterprise Risk Management Frameworks

What you'll be doing

Responsibilities will include:-

• Taking ownership for the planning, execution and management of specific risk theme reviews which may focus on suppliers, processes or incidents

• Managing and tracking resulting findings and actions through to completion to drive improvements in Sourcing & Contracting Risk

• Identifying and following up on thematic findings with key stakeholder areas, providing support and guidance for addressing these

• Contributing to the maintenance of the Sourcing and Contracting Controls Library

• Representing the Third Party Risk team at Risk Forums and Governance Meetings, as required, providing subject matter expertise

• Providing support for the wider Third Party Risk team to ensure the team deliver on it’s Risk Strategy and plans

• Supporting the development of tools, training and communication to improve the management of third party risk
