Who we're looking for

At Nationwide we believe in helping others. That’s where you come in. We’re looking for people with a positive attitude and a commitment to support our members when they need it the most.

You might already be from a customer service background, but even if you are not and are looking for a change in career where you can make a real difference in people’s lives, then this opportunity is for you.  We’ll give you all the training you need to set you up for a successful journey with us in this highly rewarding role.

You will also be rewarded with a promotion to Senior Customer Support Advisor once you complete your probationary period (usually 6 months).

What you'll be doing

Your role will be to help our members who are having problems meeting repayments. This is a telephone-based role that will involve both speaking directly with members as well as listening to and acting on voicemail messages. You will show sensitivity and empathy but also resilience to guide our members through what can be difficult and upsetting conversations.

The extras you'll get

Here, you’ll be valued, recognised and rewarded. We offer life insurance, a company-contributing pension and an excellent recognition and rewards scheme. We believe in a good work-life balance, so you’ll receive your work schedule in advance. You’ll find yourself working 35 hours per week on one of the following shift pattern: 8am – 4pm, 9am – 5pm, 10am – 6pm, 12pm – 8pm and one in every third Saturday 9am – 12pm.
