We’re a building society not a bank. Our customers are members of our Society and now more than ever they need our help. You’ll use your customer service skills to guide them through these difficult times over the phone or online. As a designated keyworker you’ll be office-based but there’s plenty of room to keep two metres from colleagues and our excellent cleaners are working hard to keep us all safe.

What you'll be doing

You might already be from a customer service background, but even if you are not and are looking for a change in career where you can make a real difference in people’s lives, then this opportunity is for you. We’ll give you all the training you need to set you up for a successful journey with us in this highly rewarding role.

You will also be rewarded with a promotion to Senior Customer Support Advisor once you complete your probationary period (usually 6 months).

About you

At Nationwide we believe in helping others. That’s where you come in. We’re looking for people with a positive attitude and a commitment to support our members when they need it most. Your role will be to help our members who are having problems meeting repayments. This is a telephone-based role that will involve both speaking directly with members as well as listening to and acting on voicemail messages. You will show sensitivity and empathy but also resilience to guide our members through what can be difficult and upsetting conversations.
