Job description

In this exciting role, you will promote an environment for the delivery of excellent customer service by providing expertise and coaching support for your colleagues in Intermediary Relationships. You will act as a first point of reference for queries and demonstrate a greater understanding of the mortgage application systems, processes and internal procedures.

• A Senior Support Advisor in Intermediary Relationships based in the Bournemouth offices.

• £23,574 - £34,051 pa based on a 35 hour week

• This is a 12 Month Secondment and you will need your Line Manager’s approval before you apply.

Who we're looking for

We’re looking for a motivated and committed individual who can demonstrate excellent customer service to both internal and external customers. You will have a good understanding of mortgages and working knowledge of products, criteria and our systems. You’ll demonstrate an analytical approach to problem solving and make decisions based on information presented to you. You will personally build effective and professional relationships with the intermediaries and BDM population you should demonstrate a flexible and positive attitude to work and change.

As a minimum requirement you’ll have:

• Good coaching and training skills

• Systems knowledge of both Nationwide and TMW

• Excellent attention to detail

• Good experience of using Excel and other presentation packages (Word, Power point)

• Good influencing skills

• Good communication skills both written and verbal

• Good analytical skills

• Display a strong commitment to personal development and a track record of sharing skills, knowledge and experience with team members.


It would be nice if you also had:

• Ce-MAP

• Financial Services Experience

What you'll be doing

Our team are the first point of contact for both Intermediaries and our BDM population, it is therefore important that you support our advisors in building a strong and professional relationship. You will provide coaching training and support where required. You will effectively monitor, analyse and communicate management information on the teams performance. You support the management team with the daily running of the department through effective planning and forecasting ensuring that agreed service level standards are met.
