Job description

•  FM Maintenance Technician at Ramsbury House in Swindon
•  £26,942 - £38,915 a year dependent of skills and experience
•  Permanent, 40 hours per week

You’ll be joining a team that’s embarking on an exciting journey launching our big investment, we are working towards supporting future generations, injecting energy in the ways we work. This exciting role will play a big part in supporting our Facility Management team within Ramsbury House to ensure our business continues to grow.

Who we're looking for

You’ll be an ambassador for our Facilities team to provide the most effective and efficient resolution to our building challenges that our building users could face.

As a minimum requirement you’ll:
•  Have electrical qualifications but must be multi-skilled
•  Have a good understanding and knowledge of maintenance processes and legislation
•  Be flexible to ensure business requirements are meet
•  Take ownership in your role, fostering entrepreneurial spirit and celebrate initiative -taking
•  Have a full UK Driving license
•  Be computer literate
•  Have knowledge and understanding of identifying and managing risk
•  Have suitable organisation skills to prioritise demands and business requirements
•  Have good attention to detail and communication skills

What you'll be doing

You’ll be an ambassador for our Facilities team to provide the most effective and efficient resolution to our building challenges that our building users could face.
Within this role you will be working in a static location where you will be completing planned and reactive maintenance ensuring the building is meeting compliance and governance obligations. You’ll also be required to complete other facility maintenance activities as required. Carrying out daily maintenance within set budgets and across a variety of trades and ensure accurate maintenance logs and records are kept and up to date.
•  Ensuring work is carried out to the highest possible standards in a clean and orderly manner across the whole of the site.
•  Ensuring that all machinery and equipment complies with the Health and Safety regulations and that all maintenance in carried out using Safe Systems of Work.
•  Supporting other Engineers when attending breakdowns - ensuring that there is always a rapid response and that plant equipment and machinery breakdown time is minimised. Always endeavour to reduce downtime of site plant and machinery.
•  Undertaking unsupervised maintenance tasks ensuring all procedures are followed.
•  Carrying out maintenance or supporting engineers in Low Risk, High Care and High-Risk environments, always adhering to Technical procedures and Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP)
•  Liaise effectively with and supervise all external maintenance contractors and ensure that they follow Health and Safety standards.
•  You may be asked to join our Swindon Maintenance team with on call support that would be offered on a 1 in 6 weeks basis.
