Assistant Product Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Business Savings Proposition and Pricing team working with key stakeholders and 3rd party providers, you will be instrumental in maintaining and building on the commercial performance of the product portfolio and supporting the development of our intermediary and 3rd party proposition.

You’ll be joining the Business Savings Proposition and Pricing team with an exciting portfolio of work, including, proposition development, product development, financial planning, business performance and and pricing proposals.

What you’ll be doing

In addition to the above you will be supporting the Lead Product Manager in developing the Business Savings intermediary proposition.

You’ll drive through important initiatives, being accountable for delivery and results, as well as supporting the Lead Product Manager with the creation of papers, presentations and strategy documents to communicate our strategy and plans in a compelling and timely way.

You will work with colleagues and stakeholders across different communities to deliver product and pricing strategies to achieve our commercial objectives whilst maintaining our member satisfaction and ensuring fair outcomes. 

About you

You’ll need to:

  • Have experience of working in Financial Services and/or Product or Proposition Management
  • Be able to demonstrate the ability to analyse a range of internal and external insight and present information to senior stakeholders in an impactful and understandable way.
  • Have strong numerical and analytical skills with a commercial outlook.
  • Have excellent relationship building skills, being confidence in communicating across communities and 3rd party partners.
  • Be able to engage, manage and influence key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a creative approach to problem solving to critical business and member issues
  • Have an interest in market and competitor trends and can articulate how these may impact our strategy.
  • Have good time management skills and self-motivation, enabling you to work within tight deadlines, whilst also maintaining high standards, attention to detail and ensuring timely delivery of multiple pieces of work.
