Working for a building society you will have the opportunity to change someone’s life for the better. You’ll take care of our members/customers and guiding them through our digital service whilst adapting our style to suit all our member’s needs. At Nationwide, our Contact centres provide legendary service to our members. As a consultant you’ll respond to enquires via our digital platform to support the member with their questions via messaging.

We’re looking for part-time Digital Digital Services Customer Consultants to join our team!

What you’ll be doing

We’re a building society not a bank. Our customers are members of our Society and now more than ever they need our help.

You’ll use your customer service skills to guide them through these difficult times online.

As a Digital Services Customer Consultant, you’ll respond to enquiries online through messaging, as part of our friendly team. This team receives enquiries for lots of different reasons. Our Members/customers may want to discuss their financial options, discuss bereavement cases, or enquire about internet banking. As the first point of contact for our members/customers, you will adapt your communication style as necessary, while exceeding customer expectations and delivering a personable and knowledgeable service.

You can be based around the country, working from home on a part time basis, working between 16–28 hours per week. Start date will be the 6th December 2021. 

These hours would be scheduled from 4pm to 8pm, Mon – Sun and you can decide which days’ work best for you. Weekends would be every other.

About you

If you’ve got a customer service background in retail, or a contact centre, with recent experience using messaging or webchat to serve customers this would be an advantage.
