As a Linux infrastructure Engineer you will be working in project teams building and maintaining Linux platforms to provide strong business solutions. You will be involved at all stages in projects from input to designs through to build and non-production support.

At Nationwide we openly put our 15 million members at the centre of every decision we make as a business. Every role, no matter what it’s doing, is member focused.

Engineering currently supports all the non-production systems used for development and testing and provides specialist guidance and advice. We also build the production systems before they are handed on to the production support area with Nationwide.  We are actively moving to a more Dev-Ops focused model which will encourage end to end ownership of the environments.  Engineering on the infrastructure side provides a key foundation for any of the systems being developed for internal or Member facing use.
