We are looking for a Technology Administrator to join the End User Services (EUS) team within Nationwide Technology (NT) at our Head Office in Swindon to support several key functions within EUS.

EUS are accountable for the delivery and support of all the Society's End User Services, including laptops, physical and virtual desktops, mobile phone & tablet, audio & video conferencing. 

Working within the retained team, your key responsibility will be to provide support for several key processes across our mobile phone & tablet services, laptop, desktop services, and support teams, as we continue to focus on positive user journeys for our colleagues.

Your success isn’t based on how long you spend at your desk. You’ll have contracted hours, but we’re always happy to support flexible working wherever we can. That might mean working from home or different Nationwide offices or agreeing a working pattern to help you balance work and life. We will always strive to find a way that works for everyone.

This role will require you to work from the Swindon office at least 1 day per week with the remainder being remote.

What you’ll be doing

This will be a challenging & rewarding role and will draw on your skill to provide excellent internal customer service, assimilate and process large amounts of information to support the billing, inventory management, service requests, and partner review processes. This role will involve working closely with strategic partners and our colleagues across NT, as well as regular interaction with the user community.

Ideally, we’re looking for someone who has experience working under strong governance, ensuring policies are adhered to whilst delivering the best possible outcomes for our users. You should be naturally analytical, and experienced in building working relationships and above all, have the confidence to challenge things!

You have strong communication skills and a friendly, professional approach will be critical too.  Being self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies is essential to your success.

About you

  • Possess excellent organisational skills and a fantastic eye for detail with a pragmatic approach to work
  • Have a curious mind and clarity of thought, approaching challenges with a positive attitude
  • Be great at relationship building as you’ll be required to work not only with multiple internal departments but also external suppliers and partners
  • Be a team player and just as comfortable working on your own or as part of a team
  • Have a flexible and adaptable approach, embracing change as the organisation continues to evolve
  • Be comfortable working across multiple projects and immersing yourself in a team.
  • Have the ability and desire to quickly learn new technologies.

Experience and knowledge of the following areas would be beneficial (training will also be provided):

  • Good Excel skills
  • Familiarity with Service Now
  • MacOS and iOS
  • Intune
  • Have the ability and desire to quickly learn new technologies.
