As an Endpoint Management Engineer, you will be responsible for providing Level 3 assistance. Investigating and resolving incidents, working within the problem management framework, maintaining and supporting the MEM/MDM service within IT Operations and Service Delivery

The Endpoint Management Engineer role sits within End User Services and you will be responsible for resolving incidents whilst maintaining and supporting our Modern Endpoint Environment.

You must be available and ready for OOH support via an on-call rota

What you’ll be doing

  • Working with internal application owners, vendors, and other Nationwide stakeholders proving problem and incident resolution for all aspects of the Microsoft Endpoint Protection service.
  • Continuously update documentation and knowledge articles to make sure accuracy, quality, and relevance are maintained.
  • To provide technical support to users of the Intune-Managed managed devices (initially iOS & iPadOS)
  • To own and maintain the security baselines, contributing to design uplifts and
  • To work with Microsoft Premier Support Engineers and assigned DSEs
  • To evaluate and impact assess releases, updates and patches to minimise disruption to our end user community.
  • To be responsible for the management of incident queue for yourself and assisting the wider team with theirs.
  • To manage minimum Device OS versions, device compliancy and confirming security, patch updates and vulnerabilities are deployed, installed and maintained.

About you

  • Is a hands-on IT professional with significant experience of providing Level 3 Support
  • Has in-depth knowledge of Apple iPhone, iPad & Android Operating Systems and software including:
    • Intune Configuration Profiles and Security Baselines
    • Experience in mobile app deployment (App store and Volume purchase)
    • Office 365 for mobile and associated App Protection Policies
  • Has experience of ServiceNow
  • Has experience in Apple Business Manager
    • Device management
    • Certificates and Tokens
  • Has experience in Azure Active Directory
    • Device registration
    • Device records
    • Conditional Access
    • Multi Factor Authentication
  • Has relevant industry accreditation and training (please provide details in your application)
  • Has experience of working directly with End Users at all levels of the organisation, providing direct support and guidance
  • Is experienced with all aspects of Microsoft Intune
    • Planning
    • Compliance
    • Configuration
    • Managing Applications and updates
    • Enrolling Devices, Alerts, Troubleshooting and reporting
    • Monitoring and reporting
    • Application protection policies
    • Connectors and Tokens
