There are a number of specialised Risk teams across the Society, each with its own role to play in ensuring that Nationwide manages its risks effectively. We’re looking for people who are passionate about analytics; enjoy keeping things on track and making improvements.

What you’ll do

This scheme will give you experience of several roles. You could be helping manage operational risks associated with the day-to-day running of the Society, as well as those arising from major change programmes. Your good communication skills and ability to build strong and trusted working relationships, will be invaluable in advising colleagues on the best course of action.

If a more technical role appeals to you, we have Modelling teams that enable us to measure, understand and control risks within Nationwide and a Retail Credit Risk team to control and manage our credit risk across our product lines.

Whichever placements you take on, we’ll work with you to develop your technical, managerial and business skills. We’ll also support and encourage you to gain a relevant professional qualification.
