Summer Interns

Image

Summer Internships offer you a paid, short term placement to gain insight into a business area.

You can use your internship to determine your interest level in certain career fields, get feedback from professionals regarding your strengths and weaknesses, and to further your education and expand your CV. And with summer internships, you can do all this in the time you already have off from University!

Why choose a Summer Internship at Nationwide?

We'll provide you with an in-depth paid experience of one of our core business areas for up to 12 weeks. Following your time with us, you may like to consider applying for our Industrial Placement programmes or even our Graduate programmes.

There'll be plenty of chances to see up close the variety of work that takes place within your chosen area, have the opportunity to develop essential business skills and to be involved in real projects. You'll even get responsibility for managing a variety of tasks, often to tight deadlines.

You'll have the chance to work alongside Senior Managers and receive plenty of support from your colleagues you work with. At the end of it all you'll be equipped with a depth of knowledge and skills that will prove useful for your future career. Throughout it all we'll pay you a competitive salary and you'll also be entitled to two days' holiday per month.
